The Department of Georgia Military Order of the Purple Heart welcomes you to our web site. We hope that you will find this web site helpful, informative and, if you are a Purple Heart recipient who lives in the state of Georgia, we hope that you will join your fellow Patriots by becoming a member of a local chapter or an at-large member.
The Department of Georgia has chapters located in Alpharetta, Atlanta, Augusta, Athens, Columbus, Rome, St. Marys, Thunderbolt and Tifton. If there is no chapter near you, consider starting one in your location. Contact John Wilder, Department Adjutant at jwwque@knology.net for more information.

All persons of good moral character who are awarded the Purple Heart Medal by the Government of the United States AND are not dishonorably discharged are eligible for active membership in the Military Order of the Purple Heart of the U.S.A.
